Hampton by Hilton Gatwick Exterior

Redefine|BDL Hotels, the UK’s largest independent hotel management company, has announced that it has added Hampton by Hilton London Gatwick Airport to its portfolio of hotels.

Hampton by Hilton, which offers 192 rooms, is linked to Gatwick’s North Terminal and brings the number of hotels managed by Redefine|BDL Hotels to 63.

The take over took place on Tuesday 1 March.

John Stuart, Redefine|BDL Hotels’ Chief Operating Officer, said: “We’re very excited about Hampton by Hilton London Gatwick Airport joining the Redefine|BDL Hotels portfolio.

“The hotel sits in a prime location for both business and leisure travellers, with great access and links to Gatwick Airport, central London and Sussex.

“We will bring our wealth of experience in running airport hotels at Heathrow, Glasgow and Manchester to bear, ensuring all of our guests have a fantastic experience when they come to stay at Gatwick.

Gatwick office block to become a Gatwick hotel

We’re set for another hotel at Gatwick after EPR Architects were given the go ahead to transform an office block at Gatwick Airport into a hotel.

The Longbridge House office block will become a 192-bedroom Hilton Hotel – a Hampton by Hilton economy hotel – and have direct access to the North Terminal.

The existing building’s structure will remain and a further two storeys will be added.

Once completed the hotel will offer a lounge, bar, restaurant, meeting rooms, fitness room, coffee shop and an all-important direct link to Gatwick’s North Terminal.
