Gatwick Express is set to get a dedicated platform at Gatwick Airport station
Construction is in progress to create a new platform at Gatwick station so that, once completed, platforms 5 and 6 will be used exclusively for the Gatwick Express services.
The new platform will take 12 months to build and, to accommodate the work, platform 6 will be closed until Saturday 27 April. Platform 5 will also be closed overnight, Tuesdays to Thursdays between the hours of 21:30 and 05:30 until 15 March and from 2 April to 19 April.
