Gatwick Express offers compensation for delays

Did you know that you could be entitled to compensation from Gatwick Express?

Under the Delay Repay Scheme, if your train journey was delayed by more than 30 minutes, regardless of what caused that delay, then you have up to 28 days to file for compensation.

Compensation is based on the type of ticket you have and the length of your delay:

  • Delays of 30-59 minutes will result in 50% of a single ticket price or 25% of a return ticket
  • Delays of one hour or more will see a 100% refund of a single ticket price or 50% of a return ticket
  • Delays of two or more hours will result in a full refund.

You must submit your claim in writing, along with your original ticket and receipt, or a copy of your season ticket, within 28 days of the delay.
