WestJet extends Gatwick to Canada services

There’s great news for travellers wishing to fly to Canada: WestJet has announced it’s extending its seasonal flights to year round.

The airline’s Gatwick services to Calgary will now operate three times per week all year, and its daily Gatwick flights to Toronto will also operate year round.

Chris Avery, WestJet Vice-President, Network Planning, Alliances and Corporate Development said, “Year-round service to and from Europe on board our fleet of Boeing 767-300 extended-range aircraft offers our business and leisure guests the opportunity to take advantage of our low fares, high value and remarkable guest experience on both sides of the Atlantic whenever it suits their schedule.”

WestJet offers six destinations from Gatwick:

  • Vancouver – a seasonal service from 6 May until 21 October 2016
  • Calgary – year-round flights from 6 May 2016
  • Edmonton – seasonal flights from 7 May until 22 October 2016
  • Winnipeg – seasonal service from 7 May until 1 October 2016
  • Toronto – year-round flights from 6 May 2016
  • St. John’s – seasonal service from 7 May until 22 October 2016.
