WestJet’s big plans for low-cost transatlantic flights

Canadian airline WestJet has ambitious plans for the future of low-cost transatlantic flights.

The airline, which already operates flights from Dublin (to Newfoundland) and Glasgow (to Nova Scotia) and is set to launch flights from Gatwick to six Canadian cities next spring, has confirmed it is in talks with several other European airports, such as Amsterdam, Paris and Rome.

WestJet is also considering other UK destinations, such as Manchester and Birmingham.
