Virgin Atlantic increases Gatwick long-haul flights

Virgin Atlantic has announced additional Gatwick services to Cuba and US.

Gatwick flights to Havana, Cuba will increase to three per week from November 2016.

The airline is launching a three-times-per-week service to Orlando for the peak summer months – flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from late July through to the end of August.

Virgin will also operate twice-weekly flights to Las Vegas (Mondays and Wednesdays) for September and October 2016.

Executive vice president, commercial Erik Varwijk, said: “We’re delighted to be offering our customers more choice when flying to some of their favourite destinations.

“Florida and Las Vegas have been enduringly popular with our customers, and Havana is also consistently seeing incredibly high demand, so it makes perfect sense to increase services during the most popular months.”
